Santa’s North Pole workshop has been discovered by Google Earth
Santa’s Relationship to the town of Frigid: Frigid is located two miles from Santa’s workshop. The community supplies a variety of support for Santa’s family and his workshop employees such as grocery stores, healthcare and other services.
A Stranger Comes to Frigid: A few weeks ago, residents were startled to see a stranger from Google Earth arrive in Frigid. He said his company had seen a satellite photo and had sent him to map out anything he saw. He has been waiting in Frigid for several weeks to go home but he has had trouble booking a dog sled out of town.
Since his arrival, a debate has erupted in Frigid because some people feel if the world is going to be coming to Frigid, they should be prepared to open up Frigid to tourism. Others feel this discovery will destroy Santa’s operation.
Santa’s Magic Dust: Santa’s magic dust enables reindeer to fly and helps Santa get skinny enough to go down chimneys. But there has also been a rumor for many years that it has more potent powers. Some people in Frigid want to know what else magic dust can do and if it could alleviate some of the town’s problems. Santa has refused to answer any questions about the magic dust other than to say it is “magic.”
Santa is concerned about the discovery of Frigid by Google Earth. He doesn’t believe he will be able to maintain his work schedule under the bright lights of a tourism destination. This Google Earth situation is only a few weeks old and Santa has not yet decided what he will do after this year’s holiday is done.
Tonight’s Party. Today is December 28. Every year, Santa throws a big end-of-the-season party for his staff. This year, for the first time, he has invited the residents of Frigid and his friends in the Imaginary Character Association to attend. Both Santa and the Frigid community leaders are hoping that the party will be an opportunity for the community and Santa to mend some fences.
You are now on your way to the event.
